Nissan to join Le Mans with electric racing car

TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows Nissan Motor Co.'s hybrid electric racing car ZEOD RC. Nissan said June 21, 2013, it will enter the ZEOD RC, which has achieved a top speed of over 300 kilometers per hour, in the 2014 Le Mans 24 Hours endurance challenge in France. The car can switch between the electricity-only mode and a gasoline engine.
